Round 2

Tomorrow is my second chemo infusion and I will start my other drug (daily pill) which will be delivered tomorrow. I'm anxious to know how I will do with both drugs going.

My sisters talked about having a 'sisters day' at chemo. One can pick me up and give Michael a break and then we can meet at the center. I just can't think of anything more fun! (The sisters part is the fun part, of course.)

I got an email from a person, who I found out, has the same doctor I do. The cancer world is really small in many ways, I am finding out.

Hi Jane:

The news of your journey came to me Easter weekend while visiting Chris and his family in California. Ironically, I had just been admiring the relationship between my daughter and her younger cousin. It was not the first time that I was reminded of an older cousin who spent time with me and became a friend as well as family. The relationship we had was very special to me and I have used it as an example to my girls on occasion. We can touch many lives with kind gestures.

I will be praying for you to have the strength you need for this difficult journey. I will also be praying for a miracle. I believe!

Love,
Your Canasta loving cousin.

I started calling the The Cancer Club. 'Cause it is like this club that you're now "in", and you're finding out that there are a lot of other Club Members out there who can relate to what you're going through. You already knew some of the members but you didn't know they were in The Club! You have a special bond, a shared experience ... and there are a lot of very special and wonderful people in The Club. It's both a blessing and a challenge to be in The Club. But no matter what, it changes you and gives you a new view of people and their struggles and their generosity. And you get to feel the love of people who don't even know you very well but are willing to share and give of themselves. And it's all pretty amazing ..... cv

Hi Jane,

We're doing a lot of Praying in South Carolina and I've added you
to several prayer lists -- Including with the Baptists and Methodists.
They do alot of praying here in the Bible Belt.

May his Love surround you
